To us summer is the time of the great outdoors, a time to take it easy, with days spend at the water and nights filled with music. There is no better way to describe it than with pictures of „Jazz on a summer’s day“ the captivating documentary of the 1958 Newport Jazz festival.
It seems to grasp the essence of late summer and the timeless cool rooted in true mastery and nonchalance.
Inspired by the passionate musicians and the audience as they are being swept away by rhythm and song, we were looking for everyday, everywhere wearables to keep up with hot days and busy nights.
T-shirts transform to big short sleeve shirts closed in the back, summer suit trousers are rolled up or cut and unique camp collar shirts from vintage deadstock become evening attire.
